Founded in 1982 as a compliance testing lab for the emerging SMT industry, we continue our legacy of innovation today to bring unique solutions to the ever-changing manufacturing landscape. History Timeline

1982 Compliance testing lab established to address emerging SMT manufacturing needs of Fortune 100 and defense industry (certification testing of component compliance to the reflow temperatures required for SMT.) During this period we pioneered the use of fine pitch SMT packaging technologies with R&D of Fortune 10 companies.
1984 New product introduction (NPI) service capability added to existing process development and component engineering offerings. These Fortune 10 companies asked us to build prototypes for them because of our technical knowledge.
1988 New Age Technologies spins off as independent company to deliver high-mix, low volume manufacturing services to New England area businesses, from prototype to production.
1990 High volume turnkey manufacturing capabilities expanded.
1993 Functional Test Capabilty added.
1996 ISO 9000 Certification.
2004 Design services added to support ODM demand.
2005 Expanded SMT lines.
2007 Expanded into new 53,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.
2012 Change of Ownership - name Changed from New Age Technologies, Inc. to New Age EMS, Inc to better define focus of company on Electronic Manufacturing Services.
2012 Acquired nex-gen placement equipment - Europlacer IINEO II platform with 24" process width.
2012 Acquired 24" process width reflow oven.
